Team Top Kart USA is preparing for its first trip to the ultra-competitive Florida Winter Tour in Homestead, FL. The team will be debuting the 2008 Top Kart "Flash".

Fresh off a great start to the season at the opening round of the WKA Manufacturer's Cup Championship in Daytona, Tyler Thomas is looking to take home his first win of the season. Tyler who is arguably the favorite every time he hits the track in Cadet narrowly missed out in Saturday's Final at Daytona when he was run up over on the last lap in.

Taylor Miinch will be making the trip all the way from California to race in JICA where he was one of the drivers to beat towards the end of the 2007 season. Glenn Araki from PKS karting will be tuning for Taylor. Pierce Baldus will be joining Taylor in JICA, starting off his second year in the class.

After a career season earning three WKA Manufacturer's Cup wins and a Stars of Karting ICA Final victory, Chris Wehrheim will be making his return to his first full season of karting since 2005 where he was ranked as the #2 driver in North America in ICA. Chris will be competing in the TaG category with Adkins Speed Center engines, but will be competing in ICA for the Stars of Karting Championship. Joining Chris will be AJ Codalata and Robert Stout both of whom will be strong contenders in the class.

"We are very excited to get the season started off early in 2008," commented Team Manager Chris Wehrheim. "Almost everyone is returning this season and we have a few new drivers that have joined the team. We are a small team, but produce big results and we are looking forward to growing our success in 2008 while developing our drivers."
